SPC RECEIVES APPRECIATION AWARD FROM MUNTINLUPA CITY
Sharp (Phils.) Corporation (SPC) received Gawad-Pagpapahalaga (Appreciation Award) from the City of Muntinlupa at a ceremony done at Muntinlupa Sports Complex last August 10, 2018, with Mayor Jaime Fresnedi, Congressman Rufino Biazon, and City Councilor Stephanie Teves in attendance. The award aims to recognize stakeholders for its active participation in the government’s Brigada Eskwela 2018 (National School Maintenance Week).
“For the past 3 years, this is the first time that SPC received such distinction and we are very happy. Brigada Eskwela is one of SPC’s way of giving back to the community we serve, shared by Ms. Cristeta Sauro, SPC-CSR Program Facilitator. She also added that the activity is a perfect way of engaging employees in projects that drive change in society.
The Brigada Eskwela aims to bring all the education stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, effort and resources to prepare public school facilities for the opening of classes for the school year that starts on the month of June. SPC volunteers masterly restored the school desks of Sucat Elementary School Annex Zone 3 during the Brigada Eskwela 2018 last May 31, 2018.
